Football Season is Officially Open

Bud and Scoop made their debut for the Chisholm Longhorns last night for the 2007 Football Season.

What a game! I had tears in my eyes as Bud made his first appearance as a SENIOR. . .I really didn't expect myself to be so emotional.

Here is the link to the article in the paper: http://www.enidnews.com/sportslocal/
local_story_244014904.html. The 2-point conversion was actually thrown by Scoop. My favorite play of the game was when the announcer said, "Bud's pass was complete to Scoop." :)

We are off to a good start!

Wow - both boys playing together! At least you won't have to make it to two different games this year!

It is so cool that you will hear the announcer talk about both your sons at once!

Was it really hot for your first game? It is still very warm and dry down here in Arkansas.

Karmyn - I love the boys playing together! But, Scoop still plays JV (quaterback) so we will have those games to attend. . . :) That's okay. . .

Pamela - heh to Bob the Builder. . .it is really cool having them playing together. They seem to get along better now - they will talk about the upcoming game and the new plays, etc. . .

Songbird - when we were setting up for the game (Boosters) it was hot. As the sun went down - it was absolutely wonderful - couldn't have asked for better weather. . .

It does make a momma proud to hear both her kids names come across the speakers! :)
