Jumping right into our Next Sport - Basketball
Friday night was our last football game of the season. . .Tuesday the boys started basketball practice. . .Tonight, Scoop has an inner squad scrimmage as the freshmen boys have their first game Monday the 13th. . .Wow! ! ! To think, Scoop was just fully released last week. . .
I'm excited and ready. . .Basketball is my all time favorite sport to watch the boys play. . .It's a long season but I LOVE IT! ! ! Both the boys are starters. . .and the assistant basketball coach told me that Scoop and a couple other freshmen are going to be playing some JV ball also. . .YEAH! ! ! That means I get to spend hours at the gymn watching. . . :) I will start with Scoop, then JJ and Ali (girls varsity), and then Bud (boys varsity). . .Be ready - I plan on posting TONS of pics! ! !
Bud had his first PT session yesterday and was given homework. . .He should be able to play just fine. . .We were told that once something like this happens that it is very likely it will happen again - UG. . .

Wow! These boys don't take a break, do they? I agree with you - basketball is more fun to watch. And it's warmer to watch, too ;)

Hey Susan! No the boys don't get much of a break. . .Bud's only break through the year is when he works during the summer. :) - then he still has at least 2 football camps to go to. . .Scoop is the same way - but not working he has to go to weight sessions through the summer. . .
It is a warmer sport but sometimes those gymns can flat get HOT! ! ! Maybe cause I get so into the game. :o

The Football season seems kinda short. I guess it's because of the higher risk of injury.
Basketball is by far my favorite sport for high school and college! Sounds like you will be in hoop heaven...
Willowtree - if we had had a better season we would start with playoff games tomorrow night. . .Those that make it to playoffs and continue on usually play up through the first part of December.

OH!!!! I LOVE BASKETBALL!!!! It is my favorite spectator sport because of all the intense action. Plus - in highschool I was in the pepband (I know, Band geek) - but I got to go, watch, and play at all the state games!!!
Karmyn - that's twice now you've called yourself a band geek. . .LOL - I played in the band my freshman year and then quit. . .Can you still play your flute?
I do love the action of basketball!
