Fun Monday - The Car(s)
Okay, going to give you all a good laugh. . .You get to start with my kiddos cars. . .Yep - we bought Scoop a car (he will be driving in September). . . couldn't pass this deal up and what a sweet car it is. . .
My Birddog took the boys out and let smoke them tires (used Clorox for the cool white smoke). . .Bud was putting new tires on the next day. . .We plan to use this picture of Bud burning out as a background for one of his senior pics and silhouette him in the corner through the window of his truck. . .I think it will be really cool - and I also think I've already told you this once (sorry). . .Not much sleep. . .
Okay, here's my ride - unfortunately you aren't getting a better picture because it is in the shop being worked on. . .We are slowly doing things to it to make it different from everyone elses. . .if you can't tell - we don't wanna look like everyone else :)
If I have time I will add ugly. . .You've already seen the Yukon from when Bud dressed it up while his truck was being fixed. . .

I love your son's mustang! I asked my Hubby if I could have a Yukon and he said no :( Oh well I will get one eventually :D
Raven_Dase - Thank you! Scoop is really proud of it. . .I love my new Tahoe. . .Our Yukon is still a good vehicle just 11 years old. . .My Birddog drives it now. . .
Eleven years is pretty good life for any vehicle.

Okay - I officially want my daughter to date your sons. (She's into high-schoolers now.)

Smoking tyres...boys will be boys, I get scared when my hubby does skids. Ithink it's because I like to be in control.

Bud's truck came out niiiice! I'm pleased to see that the Mustang is finally getting back to what it should be.
Those are smokin' cool cars...yours too and I'm glad you were smokin' your tires...could have taken out a garage wall.

The pics of the smokin' tires are awesome!! Oh... crap! Your post reminded me that my 3 boys will be teenagers someday. I try very hard to forget that fact.

MJD - Birddog has a 1979 Ford F250 that we call "Ugly" - I need to get it posted for you :). .. Yes, having a mechanic for a hubby helps with the life of our vehicles. . .
Robinella - After reading about ur insurance rates I think u probably better not race cars - - - ur rates would probably go up some more. . . Hehehehe :)
Joy T - I don't know why boys are like this - I get into it too! ! ! So I guess I can't say it's all boys. . . :)

ChrisB - They had a blast! ! ! Bud's tires that he took off had pebbles stuck in the rubber. . .You should've seen the guys face when we took it in the next morning - - - I had to explain. . . :)
Thanks Willowtree - Bud is very proud of his truck! For his birthday we have ordered him all new headlights, turn lights and corner lights. . .It will dress it up even more! ! ! He just put a cam in it too! Talk about a SWEET Sound!
Swampy - LOL - - - LOL - - - Leave it to u to think of going through the garage wall. . . Hehehehe - it could be hereditary tho - my great grandmother did drive through her garage once - she lost her driving privileges after that - she was only 95 at the time :)
Gawlli - I think they will have that as a fun memory with their dad. . .

Theotherbear - the Clorox makes the really cool white smoke. . .if you go to car shows at all and they have burnout contests you need to go watch - most of the participants Clorox their tires. . .
I love the pictures of the smoke! Very cool. So, what are you doing to the truck to make it different?? I've decided once my warranty runs out, I'm getting my car a bit souped up... :)
Gosh Claudia, where do I start? Hehe - first off he has a custom paint job - he has Euro tail lights - Blue LED (like neons) underneath - for his birthday we ordered him Halo headlights, new turn lights and corner lights (should get those tomorrow - finally) - we hope to be able to get him a hard tonneau cover for his bed so he will be able to keep stuff back there when he goes off to college. . .
Get a hold of us - my boys love SOUPING UP vehicles. . . :)
