Yeah! Start the Season with a Win!
Wow! What a game! ! ! Neck in neck the whole 4 quarters! ! ! Bud scored, but I couldn't tell ya how many points he had. . .lol - I got to involved in the game. . .
We played in Blackwell and TALK ABOUT SOME RUDE FANS! We sat on the Visitor side - like good visitors - and were swarmmed with Blackwell students who - I can not believe - part of them would yell "Ref" and the others would yell "You Suck" when a call was made on the Blackwell team. . .Then they would yell "Bullshit". . .They would yell "Airball" and I can't even remember what else. . .I was fit to be tied!
After the Girls varsity game the girls came over to our side and joined the kids that were already there - which they moved into the section of Blackwell kids - moving them on down the blechers - thank goodness. . .One of the girls from Blackwell started getting all huffy with our kids and I was fixing to step in - enough was enough - they should go to their side right? LOL - actually they need to learn proper sportsmanship!
Scoop helped a Buddy film and I guess there was some mom up there that was a total Bitch. . .She started telling the boys that they needed to move the camera and they needed to learn some respect. . .Scoop and TrevDog wouldn't tell me where she was. . .I'm telling you, I had had enough. . .What would happen if we treated their people like that when they came to our school? THEY ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE A FEW THINGS TO LEARN! I still can't believe they allow them to act that way!
Anyway - they had to take a loss with both the boys and girls games - Girls 25 - 23 - Boys 48 - 45. . .Yeah! Longhorns! ! ! !

Yes, we did show 'em! ! ! I have actually considered calling the school that we were visiting and tell them what I thought.
Shame, shame. A good win for you is the best medicine.
You would think people would EVENTUALLY grow up! But they don't. I can't stand rude parents. I guess they never heard of "setting an example." Apparently no example was set for them!
How rude!!! As Michelle in the sitcom 'full house' used to say!! It never ceases to amaze me how some people can be so impolite! Don't let it ruin your week though dear!

AJ - Us beating them was enough to make the week a good one. . .I felt like we had SWEET REVENGE. . .
Shauna, You SHOULD call the school officials. It might not help immediately with the problem of these kids being disrespectful and poor sports, but if enough people report this, the school might realize this needs to be addressed. Go Longhorns!
I can't believe the refs let people yell things like that at them. If people in our stands start yelling trash at the refs, the refs usually call a technical. And they have also had our principal escort people who got out of hand out of the gym.
