Free Time?

LOL. . .I thought I would have more free time when I got out of school. . .hehe - what was I thinking?

I promise I will get back into the swing of things but I guess I have to figure out a new routine first. . .

It's Official

Summer has officially hit my house. . .Bud headed off to work this morning at 6:45 a.m. YEESSSS! ! ! Making his own money again! ! ! What a relief~!

Scoop has been working - umpiring T-ball. . .He also helps a farmer friend of ours buck hay. . .Yippee!

They will head off to Football camp next week for three days and have weight lifting 3 mornings a week. . .my two get to be there at 5:30 a.m. due to Bud having to be at work at 7:00 a.m.

They are also playing some summer ball. . .My boys, Scoop mostly, will pretty much so only play the home games - Bud won't hit but maybe a Saturday or so due to his job. . .

Basketball is probably the easiest for them. . .Bud won't get to attend any of the summer sessions - but Scoop will attend as many of them as possible. . .they have like 3 or 4 different scrimmages throughout the summer. . .

Here's to a lighter budget with the boys paying for some of their own for a couple of months! ! ! ! :)

THIS MUST COUNT AS THE BEST MOTHER-IN-LAW JOKE!

A married couple was in a terrible accident where the man's face was severely burned. The doctor told the husband that they couldn't graft any skin from his body because he was too skinny. So the wife offered to donate some of her own skin.
However, the only skin on her body that the doctor felt was suitable would have to come from her buttocks. The husband and wife agreed that they would tell no one about where the Skin came from, and they requested that the doctor also honor their secret.After all, this was a very delicate matter.

After the surgery was completed, everyone was astounded at the man's new face.He looked more handsome than he ever had before! All his friends and relatives just went on and on about his youthful beauty!



One day, he was alone with his wife, and he was overcome with emotion at her sacrifice. He said, "Dear, I just want to thank you for everything you did for me. How can I possibly repay you?"



My darling," she replied, "I get all the thanks I need every time I see your mother kiss you on the cheek."

Wow!

We attended CHS graduation tonight. . .boy oh boy. . .I will be sitting there next year with one graduating. . .WOW! ! ! I don't know if I'm ready. . .

Things have been a little hectic around here since my own graduation. . .I have had computers quitting on me like crazy. . .not a real good thing. . .

Birddog is after to me to apply at some other places due to my current guys not acting or making any efforts to raise my pay. . .I have three jobs to check on. . .One would really be cool, but the downfall at this very time in my life is it requires a lot of travel. . .I have missed very little of the boys activities and I don't want to start now that they are so close to being on their own. . .So, I ask that you all keep me in your prayers that the right thing will happen. . .

I haven't forgotten how to blog or visit - just have had puter problems. . .Hope to be back on track real soon! ! !

To Be 6 Again

I received this in an email and just had to share it. . .


A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife
turning back and forth, looking at herself in the mirror.

Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like to
have for her Birthday.

I'd like to be six again, she replied, still looking in the
mirror.

On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice
big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme
park.

What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide,
the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything
there was.

Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park Her head was
reeling and her stomach felt upside down.

He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy
meal w ith extra fries and a chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite
candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!

Finally she wobbled home with her Husband and collapsed into bed
exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well
Dear, what was it like being six again?"

Her eyes slowly opened and her ____expression suddenly changed.

"I meant my dress size, you idiot!"

The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is gonna
get it wrong.

IT'S FINALLY OVER! ! !

Finally, Saturday I walked. . .in a good way! Hehe. . .

Now, just have to find a job to pay those student loans. . .I have a job - just don't think that they are going to up my pay to what I want. . .

Hope the boys have paid attention and will pursue their education right out of high school. . .I think they have - lol - it's a joke around here that mom has to get out of B_______ mode now. . .

I can get my house clean again! ! ! Wow! No more homework in the evenings! ! ! I can enjoy myself again! ! ! Maybe even get rid of these extra pounds I don't want. . .

MIssed you all at the party - hope you celebrated too!

I'm putting off my Spring Front Door view today - - - my flowers aren't up and blooming just yet - so not very pretty - yet. . .Plus, I wanted to brag - - - sorry. . .
