Credit Card Scam

Fellow Bloggers,
I received this email from a friend of mine on yet another Credit Card Scam. . .It is so unusual that I thought it needed to be shared. . .

New Credit Card Scam ...

See this site - Snopes.com says this is true.

This one is pretty slick since they provide YOU with all the
information, except the one piece they want.

Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it.
This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA
&MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared
to protect yourself.

One of our employees was called on Wednesday from "VISA", and I was
called on Thursday from "Master Card".

The scam works like this: Person calling says, "This is (name), and I'm
calling from the Security and Fraud Department at VISA. My Badge number
is 12460. Your card has been flagged for an unusual purchase pattern,
and I'm calling to verify This would be on your VISA card which was
issued by (name of bank). Did you purchase an Anti-Telemarketing Device
for $497.99 from a Marketing company based in Arizona ?" When you say
"No", the caller continues with, "Then we will be issuing a credit to
your account. This is a company we have been watching and the charges
range from $297 to $497, just under the $500 purchase pattern that flags
most cards. Before your next statement, the credit will be sent to
(gives you your address), is that correct?"

You say "yes". The caller continues - "I will be starting a Fraud
investigation. If you have any questions, you should call the 1- 800
number listed on the back of your card (1-800-VISA) and ask for
Security.

You will need to refer to this Control Number. The caller then gives
you a 6 digit number. "Do you need me to read it again?"

Here's the IMPORTANT part on how the scam works. The caller then says,
"I need to verify you are in possession of your card". He'll ask you to
"turn your card over and look for some numbers". There are 7 numbers;
the first 4 are part of your card number, the next 3 are the security
Numbers' that verify you are the possessor of the card. These are the
numbers you sometimes use to make Internet purchases to prove you have
the card. The caller will ask you to read the 3 numbers to him. After
you tell the caller the 3 numbers, he'll say, "That is correct, I just
needed to verify that the card has not been lost or stolen, and that you
still have your card. Do you have any other questions?" After you say
No, the caller then thanks you and states, "Don't hesitate to call back
if you do", and hangs up.

You actually say very little, and they never ask for or tell you the
Card number. But after we were called on Wednesday, we called back
within 20 minutes to ask a question. Are we glad we did! The REAL VISA
Security Department told us it was a scam and in the last 15 minutes a
new purchase of $497.99 was charged to our card.

Long story - short - we made a real fraud report and closed the VISA
account. VISA is reissuing us a new number. What the scammers want is
the 3-digit PIN number on the back of the card. Don't give it to them.
Instead, tell them you'll call VISA or Master card directly for
verification of their conversation. The real VISA told us that they
will never ask for anything on the card as they already know the
information since they issued the card! If you give the scammers your 3
Digit PIN Number, you think you're receiving a credit. However, by the
time you get your statement you'll see charges for purchases you didn't
make, and by then it's almost too late and/or more difficult to actually
file a fraud report.

What makes this more remarkable is that on Thursday, I got a call from a
"Jason Richardson of Master Card" with a word-for-word repeat of the
VISA scam. This time I didn't let him finish. I hung up! We filed a
police report, as instructed by VISA. The police said they are taking
several of these reports daily! They also urged us to tell everybody we
know that this scam is happening.

Please pass this on to all your family and friends. By informing each
other, we protect each other.

Blog Day

I can't list just 5! So, I'm not going to list any! I visit a lot of blogs and enjoy each and every one of them. . .

Sorry, but I don't want to hurt someone's feelings by just listing 5. . .and I sure don't want to list any that I don't know anything about - LOL - - -that could be scary!

HAPPY BLOG DAY!

IT WAS SOOOOO GROSS!

Okay, you have read other snot stories and I really can't think of anything else to blog about. . .This will be short and sweet - LOL - it's actually GROSS!

A few years ago Scoop was playing in a Basketball Tournament in Wichita, Kansas. . .On the way to the gym we stopped by a McDonald's to get some breakfast. . .We waited our turn, as it was busy.

"T", a friend of ours, was standing in line with Birddog and me and when we got up there to order it was TOTAL SHOCK! The MANAGER had sticky, green SNOT hanging out of her nose! It was everything I could do not to gag, let alone place an order for food to eat. She kept sniffing, so she knew it was there. The other employees didn't say anything and I sure wasn't going to. I know I looked at Birddog in absolute horror.

She kept running around behind the counter grabbing the orders and finally before she put our food on a tray she WIPED HER NOSE ON HER SHIRT SLEEVE! ! ! OMG! It was total gag reflex! ! !

We took our tray and looked at "T" who was standing there in total disbelief! I'm laughing right now just remembering the look on her face. . .

We got to the table and passed out the food. One bite, I WAS FINISHED! I could not eat. . .All I could see was that snot! When "T" got to the table she just sat there in shock. . .She couldn't eat either. . .Of course, "J", her hubby, just cracked jokes about it - he didn't have the lovely site that we had. . .so he wasn't fazed in the least. . .

It was a long time before I could go into a McDonalds to eat. . .Just the uniform was enough to make me gag. . .

Don't Dish It Out If You Can't Take It

A friend of mine called me yesterday morning and asked if my "FARMER FRIEND" had called me. I told her she had but that I couldn't talk at the time. . .

Well, BB commenced to tell me that "Farmer" had called her and told her that our boys were teasing her son. (He just rolled his truck last week.) Of course it was the typical boy stuff, "If it had been a Chevy instead of a Ford it wouldn't have tore it up." BFD!

I finally talked to "Farmer" later and she asked if Bud was in a better mood. I asked her what she was talking about and she told me that the boys were teasing her son, "Whinebag". I told her that "boys will be boys".

This happens quite a bit. . .Now, mind you, "Whinebag" teases the other boys all the time, yea, Bud comes home and tells me what he's done - but BFD! We blow it off and go on. I sure don't call "Farmer" and tell her "Whinebag" is picking on Bud. Is he in a better mood?

Urrrrrrr! Good Grief! "Farmer" grow the Hell up! Teach your kid if he is gonna dish it out he's gonna have to learn to take it! I've decided that's the next words to "Farmer" should this subject come up again. . .Or, I could ask her if I should call her every time "Whinebag" teases Bud. . .Enough is enough - we are talking about 16 - 17 year olds here!

Our Decision

Bud won't be taking personal finance. . .

Our principal was very helpful when I spoke with her last Friday. . .Bud's choices if he moved from Trig are Library Aide or Physiology. . .We spoke about it Friday night and made him think about it all weekend. . .Physiology is a class that requires work also and we did not give him the choice of Library Aide. . .Bud was told that he would take a class that he benefits from. . .

As of right now, Bud has chosen to take Physiology and Birddog and I have agreed as this will count toward the Science credits he needs to graduate from High School.

Now, I have not gotten him up to go to school yet, so he may have decided to stay in Trig. . .Those are his only choices. . .If he stays in Trig I'll let you know, otherwise, Bud is taking Physiology.

Don't ask me how this happened, but Bud came home from school and he is taking Physics. . .LOL I can't even get it straight! ! ! !

My Boys are so Onery

Well, one thing about it, my boys are just like their daddy. . .Birddog is rather onery and can pull one over on you in a split second and it has been bred into the boys. . .

Just a little funny. Bud's girlfriend, JJ played softball yesterday and after the game she called Bud and told him how she did.

Bud told JJ that he had blown his knee out. . .The girl fell for it hook, line and sinker! Her mom dropped her off (who knew that the boys were teasing) and JJ was here for a couple hours. . .the whole time thinking Bud was really hurt. . .It wasn't until shortly before she went home that she realized something wasn't right. . .OMG! It was sooooo funny. . .What made it even funnier was she was talking to her mom when she found out it was all a joke. . .

Scoop is just as bad! ! ! When he was little, 6 or 7, if you knew him you knew he was telling a big windy because he would look over your head telling his story. . .He's gotten much better about fibbing to your face. . .LOL

They do it in fun and it's innocent. . .

Would it be Rude?

As you know, my boys are the QB's for the football team. . .The coach mentions the boys occassionally in the newspaper and every time our last name is spelled wrong. . .Would it be rude to ask the coach to spell our name right?

Repair?

I'm sure that people that drive by our place right now think we are some real junkie people. . .LOL

Birddog has Bud's truck in the front and they are sanding away. . .Unfortunately, the PRETTY truck isn't looking so pretty right now.

I'm getting to the point I'm ready for it to get the new paint on it. . .I'm an impatient person. . .Birddog says we still have quite a few things to do before we can take it to Mr. Hanky, our friend that is going to fix it. UG!

Could I Have a Little Help?

Well, school has been in session a week today. . .Both the boys are applying to STUCO (Student Council). . .As a requirement for membership, the kids have to hold a "B" average - which I expect my children to do anyway. . . .

When talking to Bud about his classes last night he said that he would really like to get out of Trig. . .I am absolutely no help to him - I made it through the Calculus class that was required which was labeled "Elementary Calculus". I don't want to be a push-over and let him out that easy, but he states that he is worried he's not going to do well and does not like the teachers method of teaching. . .When he was enrolled in the class he was told that if he thought he was going to have problems that they would move him to a basic math class (personal finance), which would be a good class for him to have also. . . He has the math credits he needs to graduate.

Here's my question. . . .Should Birddog and I let him see if he can get out of Trig and into something that he may hold a better grade in? or Do we make him stick it out and see how his grade is at the end of the quarter? Should I contact the Trig teacher and see if he has graded any work to see how Bud is doing?

We are sitting on the top rail of the fence and not sure which way to go. . .

Is it a Farm?

Julie and I have had several laughs at one of my friends unknown expense. . .

A few months ago some friends of ours purchased a home on 4 acres of land. They have some cattle that they have been keeping out at some friends of theirs and I hope for their sake that they don't decide to move them all to their new place (there sure isn't enough room).

My question for you is - "Is this a farm?" Everytime I talk to my friend she talks about their farm. . .It is SOOOO HAARRDD for me to not laugh! When she said that the first time I couldn't keep it to myself. . .I immediately called my mom and told her that her and dad live on a farm. . .They have 5 acres. . .Mom busted a gut laughing too and asked me if I was serious! I know, I'm mean and not a very nice person. . .But it just blows my mind! I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone. . .

A farm to me is anything over 10 acres. 4 acres is a little bit of room! I grew up on 58 acres (farm) - did I grow up on a ranch?

I Made It!

Last night was my first night of Fall classes. . .I have avoided taking night classes throughout my continuing education but I can no longer say that. One of the classes required for my Accounting degree is only offered at night (I should say early evening) in the Fall. . .Urr. . .Sure does mess with my family time. . .

I'm taking 12 hours this semester and will take 12 hours this Spring and then May 2007 I will walk to receive 2 degrees - Business Administration and Accounting. . .

Sure am glad I went ahead and took the Summer classes that I did. . .Makes my load quite a bit less. . .

If I happen to have a few hit and miss posts, please understand that I'm either dealing with my school work, the kids school work, house work, my part-time job, or I'm sitting in the bleachers cheering the boys on. . .

Oh yeah, we still have a truck to repair too! ! ! LOL - - - Things around this house don't get very boring - just stuff you don't wanna deal with. . .

I might be asking for help with Trig for Bud. . .Anybody know it? I can handle Scoop's stuff right now. . .LOL

How Common is Your Last Name?

I received this in an email and thought it would be fun to share. . .

My married name is not ranked in the top 55,000. . .Isn't that interesting?

Visit:
  • How Common is Your Name?
  • It Looks Pretty Good

Well, I've been trying to upload my new football pictures of Bud and Scoop. The crazy thing won't do it. . .Hopefully by the time I get to the end of this post the computer will cooperate and I can post my bragging rights to my babbling.

As I said in my last post the boys scrimmaged in Edmond Friday night. I was a little worried because this was the first time the team had been up against an opposing team. The team really surprised me. . .Chisholm has had several years of losing seasons but from what I saw Friday night the losing streak may be over. . .I'm not saying that they are going to win every game they play (they still have a lot to work on) but I don't think that they will lose every game. . .That's a great improvement. . .

I was really proud of my boys. . .Bud never playing quarterback before looked rather relaxed. . .Now me on the other hand - was nervous at first - but settled in to it. . .He'll be fine. . .

Scoop did exceptionally well also. . .He even made a touchdown - it was a whopping yard - but never-the-less it was a touchdown. . .

Mom is going to be okay with this. . .And, the boys seemed to get a little more excited about the upcoming regular season. . .

    Yeah! ! ! Go Longhorns! ! !

    ShoeBall Begins

I know, I know. . .what is ShoeBall? ? ? Well, ShoeBall is American Football and got named ShoeBall by Bud when he was about 2 years old. . .Him and his daddy would lay in the floor on Monday nights to watch ShoeBall. . .I can still hear his little voice, "Daddy, lets watch ShoeBall." It was so cute!

Now, here we are, Bud is 17 and is the starting Varsity Quarterback and it is no longer ShoeBall :( it's FootBall. . . Scoop is the 9th Grade and one of the Junior Varsity Quarterback. . .

We are headed to Edmond tonight to scrimmage Oklahoma Christian School. Tommorrow the public is invited out to the High School for the evening to eat, purchase supporting nick nacks, and meet the 2006 - 2007 Longhorns - which will include the Cross Country Team, the Girls Softball Team (provided they are back from playing a tournament out of town), and the High School Football Team. . .It is usually a really good time.

Next week we will host a scrimmage with Blackwell and then August 31 Scoop will play his first High School Football game as the 9th Grade Quarterback.

September 1st will be the High School Varsity first game of the season and we will be playing at Oklahoma Bible Academy.

Birddog and I are fixing to be hooked up big time! That's okay - wouldn't trade it for anything! I do have an instructor that may get a little upset with me for leaving some of my classes throughout the semester early - but you know what - MY KIDS COME FIRST! ! !

Well, I ask that you pray for all the athletes to have a Fun, Safe Season. . .

    Here It Is

My friend Julie has been giving me a hard time because I have not yet posted a pic of my new ride. . .so here it is. . .

Can you see my little smiley face hanging from the ceiling in the garage? He's there to tell me when I'm in far enough. . .LOL There's just a little difference in the noses of the Yukon and Tahoe. . .

Besides, I get smiled at everytime I get home now! ! !

    Repair Update

Well, yesterday we took the truck to the frame shop to make sure everything is a okay. . .Birddog and Bud have been sanding on it and it looks pretty pathetic right now. . .Have to keep the picture in my head at how pretty it is with paint! LOL

I will get a picture for everyone to see when we get it back. . .

    Can You Imagine?

I received this picture in an email. . .The babies are so cute, but can you imagine? I don't know how soon skunks can start spraying so they may be just cute babies and harmless.

    Back To School

Wow! Summer has flat flown by.

Last night we had a new event to attend, as the school has never done anything like this before, we attended a Freshman Orientation. Of course, Birddog is pulling his usual and griping saying, "Let's just get his schedule and leave." That's not how they had it set up. It was actually pretty fun.

The worst was the first. We had to stand in line to get in, but they were giving each student a nametag, schedule, giving any unsigned papers from pre-enrollment to be finished, etc. We all then went to the cafeteria for the "FREE" meal of hamburgers, chips, cake, tea or water.

The principal, who just moved up from the Middle School and is TOTALLY AWESOME spoke to everyone for a few minutes then the fun began.

The Student Council took all the freshmen and toured the school and played a variety of games, etc. I think they all had fun, anyway, it looked like they were all having a blast. While the kids were playing around, the parents had their child(ren)'s schedule and every 5 minutes had to go to the classes. We had no maps, but fortunately Birddog and I both graduated from Chisholm, and had to find the classes. We were in each class for 5 minutes while we met the teachers and they explained how they ran their class and what was expected of the students. I think it was really neat.

At the end we all gathered up again while the principal told us of a new program being implimented at the High School to encourage the students to achieve good grades, etc. We looked through the handbook touching on things she felt were important to make sure everyone was aware of and then the evening was over. A whole BUSY 2 hours.

I didn't hear anymore complaints from Birddog, so I guess he thought it was kinda fun. I think it put the kids a little more at ease because they got to run around the school and become familiar.

The only complaint from Scoop was he has a bottom locker and a kid he doesn't care for a whole lot above him. . .Other than that - I think he's set. . .

    The Repair Begins

This picture is Bud's truck a year ago when he got it for his 16th birthday. . .Needless-to-say, July 28th, a little over a year after he got it - a lady ran into the side of him. . .the pictures of the damage really don't do justice and it just amazes me the amount of money that it takes to repair things like this!

As you can see the bed on the truck is out of whack and the other photo is just a piece of the door that was hit. . .It is costing over $3,000 to repair. . .

Fortunately, we have a friend that does auto body repair and IS GOOD AT HIS PROFESSION and he will be doing the work for us. . .Bud is learning what it means to be a body man. In order to save a little money repairing his truck so that he can do a few things extra to it he is sanding it down himself.

In the meantime, since we got the new car, Bud has been driving the old car and the little extras that he had on his truck have been moved to the Yukon. . .Looks SWEET too! ! ! Guess we could've just done some stuff to it and not bought a new one. . .LOL

I will try to post stages of our truck repair. . .It should be fun! ! !

    Another First

Well, today is the first time that Bud has driven out of town without Birddog or I with him. . .Wow! Really different. . .

We let him and a friend, Ball, go to OKC to do some shopping and go watch JJ, Bud's girlfriend, play softball. . .It's only about an 80 mile drive and all this summer Bud has been working down around Norman, which is south of the City, and in the City so we figured he could handle it. . .

He has called a few times for directions today, but I think they are having a good time. . .Sounds like he found some good deals on some clothes too. . .

    Urrrr!

For you men readers, please take this to mind. . . .

Don't get me wrong, I love Birddog with all my heart - but there are those days that I have to just turn my back before I slap the coondog S*(t out of him! ! !

This morning started that way. . .Now mind you we are talking 6 a.m. - - -He stays in bed until the very last minute and I'm pacing from the kitchen to the bedroom telling him that he needs to get up - he's going to be late. . .I get up every morning with him - fix coffee and while he is showering I'm making his lunch and making sure all his ducks are in a row. . .

Now, a year ago he worked away from home - he had to take care of himself. . .but, me being the wife that I am and "IN TOTAL LOVE WITH THIS MAN" - called him every morning at 5:30 a.m. to make sure he was up and at 'em and had time to grab a bite to eat. . .

During that year that he was working away - I was doing all the yard work, plus played mechanic, plumber, electrician, and anything else to fix things that would break. . .

In the time Birddog has been home, I am still caring a majority of those hats with me! Really pisses me off. . .He GOT LAZY! I don't know how many more times I can be just totally rude to him without slapping him! ! ! I was playing tire repairman this morning - #1 because he stayed in bed till the last minute and he didn't have time to fix the damn tire and #2 because he knew I could handle it! ! !!

Okay, ladies, help me out - - - what do I do? I'll take suggestions from any men that would like to help me out too. . .

Thanks, for putting up with my gripe session. . . . .I probably asked for it by spoiling him. . .

    One of those Days

Boy, today has been one swing from one mood to another in a split second. . .Why do we get like that????

I think it's just the stress of everything going on. . .It is non-stop ALL THE TIME. . .A break from it all would be WONDERFUL. . .Kinda envy Julie being at the Broadmoor right now. . .I know hers isn't all fun and games but it's a different hustle and bustle. . .

My kids are even going through jumping from one mood to another. . . they start school next week. . .and they are going to football early every morning. . .

Well, here's wishing you all a better day than what I've had. . .

    The Truth

Quit griping about your church; if it was perfect, you couldn't belong.

It's Official - My son is the QB

Well everyone I'm going to be a GLOATING momma. . .The following is an article about my boys high school football team. . .It's official, my son is the quarterback:

Chisholm will have one workout from 8 a.m. to noon. Second-year Longhorn coach Dan Maly said he feels his players benefit from having one session.

"We'll get all the kids in there and get after it,Maly said. "They are going to have to get used to the heat. We'll give them a lot of water breaks."
The Longhorns will use the first three days for conditioning.

"They're not in shape yet, but they are in better shape than if they had been sitting on the couch," he said. "We'll try to re-fresh them on everything and get their minds working again."

Chisholm returns seven starters from last year's 0-10 team. Two players - lineman Eddie Cumpston and Blake Gillpatrick - return after missing last season with injuries.

"We'll still have competition for positions," Maly said. "The offensive line is wide open. Whoever wants to get up there and block will play. We have a good idea of who's going to be there, but that doesn't mean somebody else can't step up and take it."

Maly said Chisholm had good participation in its offseason weight program.

Maly has added two assistants - Mike Karnes, who coached previously at Commerce and Miami, and Chad Kirkegard, a recent Cameron University graduate.

Chisholm will scrimmage at Oklahoma Christian Schools Aug. 18 and will host Blackwell and Mooreland at 6 p.m. Aug. 25.

Please keep all these kids in your prayers for a safe season!

I LOVE WATCHING MY BOYS PLAY SPORTS! ! !

    My Nephew, Bumper

Well, everyone I need you to pray for Bumper. . .I told you a few posts back that he was home visiting. . .

Friday night he had emergency surgey. . .They discovered that he has Crohn's Disease. . .All these years they have been treating him for ulcers. . . His mom, Tutor, told me that the Doctor said that there has only been one case worse than Bump's reported and it was a man in Argentina. . .

The family and I have not yet been up to see Bump. . .he's pretty medicated and really doesn't feel like visitors yet. . .

I just wanted to post this and ask everyone to pray for a speedy recovery with no set backs. . .Also, if any of you know anything about this disease, please, please comment and inform us. . .All information is greatly appreciated. . .

    Thanks! ! !

    God Bless!

    Woody Update

Well, here he is, Woody. . .The top photo is the most recent of the newest addition to our family. . .Any of you that read Another Chance Ranch know the story of Woody and his momma, Mia. They were found at Julie and McD's place being nothing but skin and bones. . .Julie tried to find the owners of the two but no one bothered to call her until after she had already given Woody to us.

As you can see, Woody is rather spoiled. The bottom photo is when Woody was still trying to figure out his new life. My photo's are arranged in a manner that is most recent top to the oldest being last.

My family loves all of our dogs and we have taught Woody several tricks that our others don't know. . .He is such a fast learner! Woody is now 6 months old and will sit and shake, fall over when you point your finger at him and say "Bang", we are still working on "Stick 'em Up" which he is gradually getting better and better at. Birddog began working with "High Five" yesterday. . .This is going to be one big dog that will have many tricks up his sleeve - lol. . .

Thanks Julie! ! ! We really didn't need a third dog, but beings we took Woody, we couldn't have gotten a better dog. . .He has an awesome personality and we love him bunches! ! !

    My Part-Time Job

Well, it's official - I have a Part-time job. . .I haven't had steady employment for over a year now and it's been hard to get back into the swing of things. . .How in the world did I do everything before working full-time?

This morning started out rather interesting. . .When I got here the guys were visiting and the phone rang (partial) once and then quit. . .I just laughed because they couldn't figure out what was going on. . .I had experienced this little situation before at my former employers. . .Whenever it rains the phone will ring (partial) one time and quit.

YES, WE FINALLY GOT SOME MUCH NEEDED RAIN! ! ! !

I explained to the guys what was going on and everything was cool. . . Well, the guys use their cell-phones for the business - the office phone is forwarded to the cell phone - which makes my job easy: I don't have to answer the phone. . .LOL

Guess what? I'm getting to answer the phone today because when the guys went to use their cell phones they weren't working. . . I've had calls and have NO WAY to get ahold of them. . .Hopefully they will check in before long because one of the calls is a water leak! ! !

Well, wish me luck getting back into the swing of working. . .

    Where Has the Summer Gone?

Wow! I just finished my summer classes and my kids are starting full pad football practice - where did summer go?!

It's so hard to believe that on August 8th the High Schools will be practicing football, my boys start school August 17th, play a football scrimmage, August 18, and have a "Meet the Longhorns" night on August 19th. . .

The kids played baseball up through July 4th and have done weight-lifting all through the summer 3 days a week. . .

So, I ask myself a lot, "Did the kids get a summer?" I know that they did some, but it sure didn't seem like it. . .

    I'm So Excited

Just had to share with everyone that I got to see my nephew, who serves in the Marines. He is in town for just a few days and we have not seen him for a little over a year now.

He is back in the states until March 2007 then he is being sent to Ramadi Iraq. Please keep him and all other military personnel in your prayers. . .

Bumper, nickname, has grown up so much and we are really proud of him.

    My Two Boys

The top photo, is our son Bud. He is going to be the varsity quarterback this year.
The middle photo, is our son Scoop. He is going to be the backup varsity quarterback, freshman quarterback, and Bud and Scoop will both play the JV quarterback.
The bottom photo is both the boys, Scoop on the left and Bud on the right.

Finally, the Car Shopping is Over

Phew! I do not like buying cars! ! ! Birddog and I have been looking and driving different vehicles for probably a year or better now. . .

We had found one that we really liked and even were given the opportunity to drive it over a weekend. . .Well, that didn't happen - the dealership didn't want to go down on theirs and said ours wasn't worth anyhing. . .Needless-to-say, we won't be going back there to try to do business as this was the second time that their vehicle was worth every penny they were asking and ours (the same one) wasn't worth squat!

Finally, after much cussing and discussing, Birddog and I decided to go sign the papers and bring a new vehicle home from another dealership. . .It's funny how the older you get, the less excited you get to run into some finance office and sign papers to take a NEW CAR home. . .LOL

Our oldest son, Bud, was more excited about the NEW CAR than we were. . .Except, I was pacing the floor waiting for him to get back home after letting him take his girlfriend home in it - LOL.

So, KUDOS to any of you out there in the market for a NEW CAR - I sure don't envy you!
